Our clients often find us when they reach pivotal personal and professional transition points and need new tools and perspectives to navigate life's challenges. Every practitioner at the Healing Arts Center brings a diverse, trauma-informed skill set and believes in a personalized approach to care, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Our practitioners focus on your well-being without pressure to join unsuitable classes or force modalities that keep you "stuck" in an endless cycle of therapy. At HAC, we understand that for those experiencing anxiety or overwhelm, high-performers, individuals managing post-military life and PTSD, and military family members, the proper support can empower you to take positive control of your life.

We take a unique, comprehensive approach to care—all under one roof.  We provide clients with access to a broad range of services, a variety of highly skilled and ethical practitioners, and essential tools to carry with you beyond your time within our peaceful and inclusive walls. Our goal is for every client, regardless of what brought them to HAC, to leave with a better sense of calm and self-awareness, practical tools and techniques, and the ability to practice self-compassion and self-care.

About The Founders

Mark Berry is a retired Navy SEAL, a certified life coach, and a practicing artist. After 25 years of service, he now dedicates his time to helping others reconnect with their imagination and discover their creative potential. His transition from a high-performance military career inspired him to establish the Healing Arts Center.

Mark discovered the profound therapeutic benefits of Reiki and Art Therapy during his transition from military service. These healing modalities significantly impacted his physical and mental well-being, giving him a new appreciation for creativity's role in healing. This experience fueled his passion for helping others find balance and success in their lives. Mark believes that the power to heal from PTSD, depression, and other traumas lies within the individual. He advocates for self-soothing and self-actualization as the foundations for a fulfilling and independent life. Mark's mission through the Healing Arts Center is to provide a space where individuals can reconnect with their imaginations, discover their inner strength, and create a life they truly enjoy.

Victoria Duarte is a dedicated holistic coach with over a decade of hands-on experience helping clients learn to self-regulate their nervous systems and find inner peace. She is deeply committed to fostering a comfortable and nonjudgmental environment for her clients. With a background as a burnout coach with extensive experience working with individuals who have faced trauma in Canada and the United States, Victoria brings a wealth of compassion and expertise to her practice. She understands the importance of offering clients a confidential, safe space to share and validate their life experiences in order to facilitate healing.

For someone recovering from burnout and PTSD, sitting still in meditation can be very challenging. Victoria understands this difficulty and uses creative writing and movement as alternative tools to help her clients reconnect with their bodies. She teaches her clients how to safely listen to their inner selves and release pent-up emotions and stress through these methods.

Victoria and Mark joined forces to create an inclusive, supportive environment at the Healing Arts Center. They currently use the space to partner with other local practitioners to provide a place where clients feel respected and experience balance and growth through thoughtful and compassionate care to transform their lives.

After her own transformative energy healing experience, Victoria completed extensive training in Mindfulness, Trauma-Informed Mindfulness, Neuro-Somatic Coaching, and Reiki. Having personally faced burnout, she deeply understands her clients' challenges, including navigating unsupportive attitudes and misplaced blame. These experiences and her comprehensive skills enable Victoria to support her clients on their journey toward rediscovering their passions and well-being post-burnout.
